Hit the open road! I was lucky enough to be able to take long road trips with both my grandmothers. My most memorable trip was with Euline and her husband JW in their fifth-wheel camper the summer of 1987. We visited the New Mexico Museum of Space History where I saw my first IMAX movie and grandpa put his cane over my lap so I wouldn't fall out of the seat. Euline and I walked through Carlsbad Caverns National Park, but decided against watching the bats leave the cave in the evening. We even walked over the boarder into Juárez, Mexico, which at the time was my first time leaving the country. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. And I did it with Euline.
